Games as Literary Artifacts

As part of V&A Dundee’s season of talks aligned to its Videogames: Play, Design, Disrupt exhibition, Simon Meek (who held the position of the museum’s first designer in residence) will be exploring the notion of videogames as literary artifacts. The talk will explore literatures long-held relationship with videogames and the emergence of new interactive works that can be regarded as cultural equivalents to our greatest books. The idea for the talk was inspired in part by 3:AM Magazine’s review of our surreal noir Beckett. When: 26 June 2019 Where: V&A Dundee Register here.
